Cosplay making of blogs and pics to look at while you’re at home

While most of us are asked to stay home as much as possible, you might be looking for something to do… How about reading cosplay making of blogs and watching making of pics? :D Here are some of the cosplay making of blogs I wrote in the past years. Some of them are completed, some I never had the time to complete. But in any case, you’ll find plenty of technical information about sewing textile and leather, 3D printing, molding, casting and working with fiberglass.

Make sure to also check out my website’s galleries. There are some costumes for which I never had the time to write a making of blog, but I took the time to put all the making of pics in a gallery.

The making of Lug, the fiberglass robot. Check out the galleries for the making of pics of Betty’s orange and black leather costume and boots.

The making of my Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Kassandra costume

Still didn’t have the time to write a blog about all the parts of the costume, but you’ll find in the galleries all the making of pics as well as detailed closeups of the finished costume and props.

The making of my dear Fallout 4 Vault suit… The blog is not completed, but seamstresses will still find there some very interesting information. Those who follow me on Twitter know how making this costume was an adventure…

Cornwall & Area Pop Event (CAPE) canceled due to coronavirus

I had just announced that I would be a cosplay guest for CAPE in Cornwall, ON when the organizers told me they had to cancel their event due to the current COVID-19 situation. :( Many conventions like this one had to be canceled. It won’t be an easy year for comiccons and conventions…

But this situation won’t last forever. There will be other conventions and hopefully, I’ll get to see my Ontarian friends in 2021. :) Until then, take care, act as responsible citizens… and follow me on my social medias. ;) Since schools are closed for now in Quebec, I’ll try to work on some projects I had put aside a little while ago. I should have surprises for you in the next weeks. :)

Cosplay Guest for CAPE on April 25-26th

I’ll be visiting my friends in Ontario again! :) I’m a cosplay guest for Cornwall & Area Pop Event (CAPE) on April 25-26th! And I’m really looking forward to wearing my Vault suit again… and to visit some LCBO and The Beer Store to bring back some little treasures that might not be available in Québec! ;) See you soon!

Can you resist the mermaid’s charms? ;)

Spring is coming up and it’s time to celebrate with a new photoshoot: Pink Mermaid – Part 1! The first official photoshoot with my new haircut! :D I love everything about that set: my pink bodysuit, the background, my natural hair color… It’s so gorgeous it might become my new favorite photo set! Why don’t you see for yourself? ;)

Jack, Queen, King and Ace of Spades – New costume prints

Almost 2 years ago, I was part of a team project for which many girls had to build costumes and provide pictures for a special card deck. Spades, Hearts, Clubs, Diamonds and Jokers… and I got the Spades. :D Unfortunately, the project never came to an end, but I still had these breathtaking pics that I finally decided to unveil for Halloween 2019. My Joan of Arc inspired Jack/Knight, my dangerous Queen of Spades with her Elizabeth I of England’s ruff collar, my outstanding King with his Henri VIII inspired coat and my one of a kind Ace… There’s nothing historically accurate in there, of course. Each costume is just a fanciful and contemporary version loosely inspired by a historical figure, but it was an interesting and challenging research.

Check out the gallery to see the whole series. All the pics are available as autographed prints. I posted some making of pics on my social medias, but I have way more pics than that. If I have some time, I’ll eventually add some making of pics in the gallery. :)
