I live in Salerno and I translate the post from the convention’s website :-)

The first international guest of this edition is the French-Canadian Marie-Claude Bourbonnaise.

Marie-Claude is an excellent cosplayer of international fame, thanks to her huge experience in this field.

In her 18 years of experience in costume and wearing production, she succeeded in using a big variety of textile materials and other materials like latex and leather.

Her capability in set making and in prop making is undisputed; moreover she’s realized real works of art in collaboration with Ninja Division, utilizing glass fiber. These works go beyong the “Cosplay concept”.

Marie-Claude is now recognizable as on of the most technical cosplayer with the capacity of realizing high quality costumes and set object.

You can meet Marie-Claude Bourbonnaise on the 9 and 10 of September at “Parco dell’Irno” and “Teatro Ghirelli”.

  3. Finally, I get a few minutes to read your blog. And the content you’ve posted is exactly what I was hoping for. The work you’ve been doing with a 3D printer has been fascinating!! (Good fascinating.) In particular the cosplay costume Chibi Severina along with the staff and sword. The staff is FANTASTIC!! And you made that with 3D printing?? I was curious about how the dragon’s mouth and the sphere within were manufactured, but I think I can see how the assembly was done. I’m assuming that all the ornamentation to the costume as well as your breast plate and skull were also created with 3D printing? It’s a really cool costume, MC. When I first saw the Ninja Division art of the character my first thought was, “Ah, something simple. She’s been working hard and probably wants a new costume without breaking a sweat.” But ONCE AGAIN, you have proved me wrong. Ninja Division has to be thrilled to have you as a part of their creative enterprises. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again — YOU ARE THE BEST!! Congratulations. (Now, have fun in Italy.)
    :-) ME xoxo
